The fine print

Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you share with us when planning a journey. Written to be read, not scrolled past.

Effective 2 August 2026

The short version: we collect what you choose to send us, we use it to plan and run your journey, and when the conversation is over, we delete it. Nothing here works against you in the background.

Who we are

Epicure Greece, based in Theotokopoulos Main Square, 307 Ipapantis, Thira, Santorini 84700, Greece, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For anything related to your information, write to contact@epicuregreece.com.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us yourself: your name, your contact details and the details of the trip you have in mind, whether they arrive through the form on this site, through the concierge, by email or by phone.

We do not buy data about you, and we do not collect anything in the background while you read these pages.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to prepare proposals for your journey and to carry the conversation that follows. Our legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation are your consent, Article 6(1)(a), and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b).

Where it lives

Your information is stored with the hosting and database providers that run this site and our concierge, under data processing agreements. We never sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers needed to keep these services running.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while the conversation stays alive. If it goes quiet, we hold the thread for up to 24 months of inactivity in case you pick it up again, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can, at any time:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you,
  • ask us to correct it,
  • ask us to delete it,
  • ask for it in a portable format,
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done while it stood.

To exercise any of these, write to contact@epicuregreece.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work. In Greece, that is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with an updated date. This version is effective 2 August 2026.
