The North Aegean
The North Aegean islands sit high in the Aegean, far from the ferry crowds: Lesvos, Chios and Samos, three of Greece's most distinct and least worn islands.
The North Aegean does not have as many islands as the Dodecanese to its south, but what it holds is precious: islands that kept their own character while the famous names filled up. If you have walked the well-worn harbours already, this is the off-the-beaten-path Greece you have been looking for.
Three islands, three personalities
Lesvos, Chios and Samos each carry their own economies, their own tables and their own pace, nestled high in the Aegean away from the Mediterranean routes. They reward travellers who like their islands with working harbours and unhurried evenings rather than curated fronts.
End to end, or folded in
You can sail the Northern Aegean end to end, or fold one island into a wider journey, combining Samos, for instance, with a sailing route through the Sporades. However you choose to come north, you will have our enthusiasm and our first-hand knowledge working for you from the first sketch.
