An Amazing Race from Athens to Nafplio, for fifty
A team of fifty flew in from Australia and spent the day racing across the Argolid, with the businesses of Nafplio playing their part in it.

Fifty people from the medical equipment industry flew from Australia to Greece, which is close to the longest journey a corporate group can make to get here. A programme that starts with a flight that long has to be worth the flight.
What we built was a race. The group left Athens and worked its way to Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, solving what the road put in front of them. The part that made it work is the part that does not appear on an itinerary: the businesses and the locations of Nafplio agreed to take part. The town was not scenery the group passed through. It was the board they played on, and the people who run it were in on it.
That is the difference between an activity booked into a destination and a programme built out of one. It also happens to be the reason a company brings a team this far instead of hiring a venue closer to home.
